Assistance with Daily Personal Activities
The NDIS supports people with disability to live a more independent life. Assistance with daily personal activities is one of the most important benefits of this plan.
We know that the little things can add up quickly when experiencing a disability or a serious illness. We aim to help you maintain as much independence as possible to live your life without worry or fear.
Personal daily assistance can include help with domestic tasks, such as taking a bath, dressing, grooming and eating. It can also include helping you with bladder management or daily exercise.
This service can be provided by an external provider, family members, or friends on behalf of the person who receives support from the NDIS. Your NDIS provider will work with you to decide what assistive technology best suits your needs.
